2013 LMRA GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
AWESOME ABS - 15 minutes of concentrated abdominal & back strength training.
ADVANCED STEP - Previous step experience is recommended for this advanced choreography class.
BOOT CAMP PLUS - An alternative to choreographed classes, this class offers drills to get your heart pumping and muscles working. Boot Camp Plus = Results!
CARDIO KICKBOXING - Incorporates kicks and punches on the bag. Some gloves are provided but it is recommended to purchase your own.
DRUMS ALIVE - This fun cardio workout is limited to 12 people so please sign up at the front desk to reserve your spot. You will drum to the beat in different patterns while incorporating cardio moves.
HI LO - Move to the beat with this fast paced hi-lo class.
BEG. INDOOR CYCLING - Has spinning seemed a llittle intimidating to tackle? This class will begin with 20 minutes and add 5 minutes each session to allow you to acclimate to the bike. Try it, you'll like it!
INDOOR CYCLING - Hills, sprints & a lot more of indoor cycling. Classes meet upstairs in Room #1. Reserve bike @ noon the day prior.
KEEP IN BALANCE - Help improve your functional fitness level, balance & increase your strength.
LINE DANCING - No partner is needed as you learn different line dances such as the Electric Slide.
MULTIPLE STEP - This step classwill use double, triple, quad or circle step.
MOVIN-& GROOVIN - A low impact cardio class.
PILATES - Strengthen & stretch through mindful & functional exercise using elastic tubing, mats, & Resist-a-balls.
PILOGA - This class combines Pilates and Yoga to increase core strength, balance and flexibility.
SIT and GET FIT - Cardio & strength class with options to sit in a chair or stand.
STRENGTH & COND. - Increase your strength & balance using stability balls, medicine balls, hand weights & Xertubes.
STEP & STRENGTH Beginning to Intermediate step choreography alternating with strength work. Cardio & strength benefits for the time of one!
YOGA - Classic yoga poses & modifications to develop relaxation, flexibility, balance & endurance. Mats, blocks, straps & blankets provided. Classes meet upstairs in Room #2.
ZUMBA - A Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class.
